HOMAGE

Product Display Photo Update

While doing a photoshoot for HOMAGE, their creative director, Justin, asked me

“Do you know anyone who would be interested in doing some mockups for us?”

Being a freelancer, my instincts kicked in and I instantly said “Yes, I’m your guy!”

About a week later, I was at the HOMAGE office kicking off what would end up being an enormous project.

The goal was to take all of their existing designs and place them onto the proper silhouette (tee, hoodie, crewneck, etc)
and those photos would then be used on the various product pages across the website for a clean, consistent look.

The first step in that process was to resize all of their existing designs to the proper sizing before they could be placed.

Once the designs were done, it was time to start placing them on the garments and export them in various file types and angles.

There were a lot of ups and downs, back and forth, meetings, and slack messages to figure out the best process to ensure
everything was getting done correctly, tracked properly, and that we would meet our goals and finish the project on time.

This project really put my problem solving abilities to the test as we were figuring out a completely new system at such a large scale.

All in all, we created 50,000+ new images for the website and developed efficient processes for future graphic mockups.

I really enjoyed working with Justin, Claire, the 2 Mikes, and the rest of the HOMAGE team on this project!
